It is easy to look at our world and feel overwhelmed and despondent at the suffering and difficulties we see from conflicts, fighting and climate issues.
We often feel helpless when we and others experience suffering and problems. We should know that our mind has such power and ability to help ourself and others, finally when our mind is pure, it has the power to liberate ourself and all living beings from suffering permanently.
In the first day of retreat, we will discover the power of meditating on mantra (the mantra of all Buddhas OM AH HUM) in uplifting and inspiring our mind with blessed and positive energy. This will make our mind very peaceful and quickly grow and ripen our pure potential.
In the second day we will learn the magical, profound and compassionate meditations of taking and giving, that enable us to remove the suffering of others and give them pure happiness.
We are delighted to have this retreat guided by Gen Kelsang Chokyong, Resident Teacher of Odiyana Kadampa Meditation Centre in Northwich.
Gen Chokyong, has been ordained for 23 years and shares his experience and knowledge in powerful, down to earth and light hearted teachings.
This retreat is suitable for everyone.
