Thursday evening - new FP class
Foundation Programme (FP) - a unique study programme which deepens understanding and personal experience of the benefits of Buddhism and meditation through in-depth study, meditation and mindful living. Becoming part of a group of spiritual friends with whom to share experience and insights is a very practical benefit to the programme. Improving the mind through being on FP naturally has many lasting benefits such as creative and calm attitudes to difficult situations and improved relationships, harmony and a fresh perspective on life.
There will be an opportunity to discover the inspiring qualities of the book Universal Compassion by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Practical and uplifting explanations show how to transform even the most difficult daily life events into opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. Tried and tested ancient meditative techniques are brought alive and made relevant to our everyday experiences.
FP is open to everyone who has attended general programme classes on Tuesdays or Thursdays for a few months, who wish to deepen and progress in improving their mind and meditation practice.
