About Our Centre

Vajrapani Centre

Vajrapani Kadampa Meditation Centre in Huddersfield welcomes anybody, non-Buddhist or Buddhist, who wishes to develop greater inner peace through meditation and Buddha’s teachings. We meet, hear talks, meditate and discuss with like-minded people and then apply what we learn to our everyday life. It is not at all necessary to have any previous experience of meditation or Buddhism to participate.

Based in the former Birkby Baptist church, a short walk from the centre of Huddersfield, the centre is a special place for peace and reflection.
We have a large and beautiful meditation room with a fully qualified Buddhist shrine with statues and offerings and a large space for relaxation and refreshments after our classes.
