The residential community at Vajrapani Kadampa Meditation Centre is a mixture of Buddhist practitioners and those sympathetic to the Buddhist way of life both of whom are supportive to the Centre’s needs and helping to ensure that the Centre remains a lovely place to visit and to live.

The Centre is home to two beautiful meditation rooms. Situated within walking distance of Huddersfield town centre, within a characterful former Baptist Church in Birkby. This is an amazing place to live and provide a much needed service to the wider community in bringing inner peace. The Centre is a peaceful and blessed place.

We have a total of eleven rooms in the Centre, a shared kitchen, shared showers and toilets and as a resident you are welcome to attend weekly meditation classes completely free.
