Vajrapani Kadampa Meditation Centre

Discover the benefits of meditation, and the peace that modern Buddhism can offer. We have weekly drop-in meditation classes, weekend courses and special events to suit everyone, whether you are completely new to meditation or have more experience.

A new series of drop-in meditation classes, Being Fearless in Uncertainty, start this week at Vajrapani Centre. The Centre will then be closed for a few weeks due to the International Summer Festival with classes resuming again on Tuesday 18th August.
Details of new courses and events for the autumn term will be coming shortly.

Our Classes & Courses

include guided meditations, talks and informal discussions. We offer meditation courses for beginners, and those that wish to study in greater depth.

Everyone is Welcome

classes are based on Buddhist teachings but you don’t need to be Buddhist to attend. Seating is on chairs and you don’t need to wear any special clothing. All our classes are included in the three study programmes of Kadampa Buddhism.

Vajrapani Kadampa Meditation Centre was founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, a world-renowned meditation master who has founded hundreds of centres around the world as part of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union. He is the Spiritual Guide to thousands of people worldwide.
